Hi, I'm Camille — the hands behind 1120 Ceramics.

The name comes from my birthday, 11/20. This is a one-person operation, and every piece is made by me, start to finish.

I got started in ceramics as a way to unwind after work and it transformed into something I couldn't put down. I found in working with clay I got a calm focus that relaxed my mind as I was concentrating on forming a piece.

Every piece is designed and made by me. Nothing is mass-produced, so you'll notice small variations from piece to piece which is the beauty of handmade, not a flaw.

You can find my work at local markets around DC and in my Etsy shop. If you take a piece home with you, it's one made with care and meant for daily use.
